Parliamentary Committee Set Up Under The Financial Crimes Commission Act – Section 129(1)

The Parliamentary Committee shall be composed of 9 members, 5 of whom shall be designated by the Prime Minister and 4 of whom shall be designated by the Leader of the Opposition – Section 129(2). The Prime Minister shall designate one of the members to be Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee – Section 129(3).

The Prevention of Corruption Act has been repealed and replaced by the Financial Crimes Commission Act 2023 which came into operation on 29 March 2024 – proclamation No. 10 of 2024, published in Government Gazette No. 30 on 29 March 2024
